This rings very true to my experience. My husband is much more compassionate than I am, and that compassion is something I value very much about him and have tried to emulate. Being married to him has I think made me a more patient and compassionate person.

Yes, yes! My college years were full of striving to prove this false sense of equality. So grateful that God released me of that vain striving and patiently showed me the depth of beauty, purpose, and meaning in women's unique creation. Still, I sometimes experience a hesitancy in saying we're "different" because I'm so trained to think different = less than. That's why constantly sharing how different = equal dignity is so important. Thanks for doing that!
